About

Hail from Singapore, Chantel Ng has lived and worked in Australia for 10 years before settling in Glasgow for the past 14 years. She is trained in Fine Art and Photography as a shelf-shooter and editor using various digital video recording and sound devices, and editing with various softwares. Chantel is passionate about storytelling, and experiments with a diverse range of equipment, forms and media types. Including sound, performances and sculpture, creating and exhibiting her work. Since gaining her degree, Chantel's artist moving image was screened at the Renfrewshire Mental Health Arts Festival in Paisley. She has also worked on Scottish Waters Public Consultation Films.

Previously, She was  trained in Hair and Makeup, with background in the retail and  private sectors. She has also delivered her services for several media productions.

Now, Chantel works in television and film productions. She was recently awarded as a 'Production All-Rounder' graduate in the #RADtelly trainee scheme run by TRC media and hosted by Raise the Roof Productions.  Her experiences included working in the Development, Editorial, Production and Post-Production. Chantel is extremely versatile, diverse, and reliable. In addition to her 22 years of full, clean driving licence, she is fluent in English, and speaks Mandarin, Fujian and Cantonese. Last but not least, she is available for work nation-wide and internationally.
